Baseball Recap: Kingman Academy Comes Up Short

Kingman Academy fell victim to Glendale Prep Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Griffins, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Kingman Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Hopper, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Kingman Academy and nudges their season record down to 6-9-1. As for Glendale Prep Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Coming up, Kingman Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Bagdad at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Sultans will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Glendale Prep Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 16-5 win against Scottsdale Preparatory Academy on the 5th.
