Basketball Game Preview: Brookland Bearcats vs. Greene County Tech Golden Eagles

The Brookland Bearcats will head out on the road to face off against the Greene County Tech Golden Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Brookland lost 76-54 to Nettleton on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 174th, while the Raiders are ranked tenth).

Meanwhile, Greene County Tech came up short against Elkins on Thursday and fell 63-50. The contest marked the Golden Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Greene County Tech's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Brookland, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Brookland came up short against Greene County Tech in their previous meeting back in November, falling 71-61. Can Brookland avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
