Soccer Recap: Medway Comes Up Short

Medway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the Dover-Sherborn Raiders. While losing is never fun, Medway can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 280th, while Dover-Sherborn are ranked 31st).

Medway's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-1. As for Dover-Sherborn, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Medway is set to square off against their familiar foe Bellingham at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dover-Sherborn will face off against rival Medfield at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
