Baseball Recap: Olney Comes Up Short

Olney lost to MAST Charter II back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans came up short against the Voyagers, falling 17-4. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Olney saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Pedro Jimenez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Jimenez is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Olney's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for MAST Charter II, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Olney wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-10 defeat against Kensington on the 28th. As for MAST Charter II, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 18-15 loss against Philadelphia Academy Charter on the 24th.
