Softball Recap: Northbrook Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Northbrook was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They lost 16-1 to the Cypress Ridge Rams. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Northbrook saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eliana Rivera, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Northbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Cypress Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-13.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Northbrook will square off against rival Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cypress Ridge is set to face off against their familiar foe Jersey Village at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
