It's playoff time, and McLean had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Westfield Bulldogs on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Highlanders, who have now won seven matches in a row.

McLean never let Westfield on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 25-23.

Will McGinnis paced McLean's offense, picking up ten kills. McGinnis got some help from Evan Li and his 27 assists. Li was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

McLean's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Westfield, they dropped their record down to 8-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, McLean will be playing in front of their home fans against Herndon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Westfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
