Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Notre Dame can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dunham Tigers on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Pioneers in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost five in a row.

Notre Dame's defeat dropped their record down to 17-16. As for Dunham, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-10 record this season.

Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dunham, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against John Curtis Christian on the 14th.
