Volleyball Recap: Eagle Pass Falls to Cornerstone Christian in First Game of Season

Eagle Pass had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Cornerstone Christian Warriors on Tuesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-6, 25-9.

Cornerstone Christian's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Eagle Pass will challenge Crystal City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cornerstone Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against Sierra Canyon at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
