Baseball Recap: Gloucester County Tech Comes Up Short

Gloucester County Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the Clearview Pioneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Gloucester County Tech of the 6-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Maison Gray was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Phil Murphy also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Gloucester County Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Clearview, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gloucester County Tech will take on Cape May County Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Gloucester County Tech are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Clearview, they will host Kingsway at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
