Softball Recap: Lecanto Finds Playoff Glory Versus Leesburg

With a playoff win on the line, Lecanto rose to the challenge on Monday. They never let the Leesburg Yellow Jackets get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Yellow Jackets: they've now won five in a row.

Not much got past Abigail Males, who gave up just three hits and racked up 16 Ks to keep Leesburg off the board.

At the plate, Shawna Griffin was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
