Soccer Game Preview: Pomona vs. Conifer + How To Watch

The Pomona Panthers will take on the Conifer Lobos at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Pomona's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Pomona fell victim to Golden and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Demons. While losing is never fun, Pomona can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while Golden are ranked 69th).

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Conifer was not quite Wheat Ridge's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Farmers by a score of 2-1. The loss continues a trend for Conifer in their meetings with Wheat Ridge: they've now lost nine in a row.

Conifer's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2-1. As for Pomona, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Pomona might still be hurting after the 9-1 defeat they got from Conifer in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Panthers were down 5-0.
