Basketball Recap: Elk Point-Jefferson Takes a Loss

If Elk Point-Jefferson was feeling good fresh off their 71-27 takedown of Canton last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The contest between the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies and the Madison Bulldogs didn't end well, with the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies falling 65-51. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the 66-59 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Elk Point-Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elk Point-Jefferson will take on Parker in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Madison and Tri-Valley will compete for holiday cheer at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
