Baseball Recap: Eastern Randolph Triumphs

Eastern Randolph won the last time they faced Providence Grove and things went their way on Friday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 6-3.

Maddox Dunn was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cade McCallum, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.

Eastern Randolph now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Providence Grove, they dropped their record down to 8-12 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Eastern Randolph will take on rival Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Providence Grove is set to square off against their familiar foe Wheatmore at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
