Volleyball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Highland can now relate to. They fell just short of the Thunder Ridge Titans by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Titans this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat two weeks ago.

Kennedi Winder paced Highland's offense, picking up 16 kills. Winder got some help from Britt Reno and her 26 assists. Brinley Homer controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Highland has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-18 record this season. As for Thunder Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-16 record this season.

Highland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Canyon Ridge on the 21st. As for Thunder Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Rigby on the 21st.
