            Volleyball Recap: Westview Knights vs. Peoria Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            Westview was the  2-1 winner over Peoria when they last played one another  back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell just short of the Panthers by a score of  3-2 on Monday.
 Westview started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 22-25, 25-14, 25-20,  16-14.
 Ayla-Grace Morris paced Westview's offense, picking up 23 kills. Morris got some help from  Taylor Betenson and her 11 assists. Betenson was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with four aces.
Westview has  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record  this season. As for Peoria,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-13.
 Westview has already played their next matchup,  a  3-1  loss against Deer Valley on the 15th. As for Peoria, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  2-0  victory against Scottsdale Preparatory Academy on the 17th.
