Softball Recap: Blazer Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Blazer hadn't done well against Johnson Central recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Tomcats came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of 5-1. The game was the first time the Tomcats have beaten the Golden Eagles on their field since June 1, 2019.

Blazer's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-14. As for Johnson Central, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blazer will take on Notre Dame Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Johnson Central, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Pikeville at 6:00 p.m.
