Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Brady). They blew past the Winnisquam Bears 12-1 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Giants in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won six in a row.

Bishop Brady's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Winnisquam, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Brady will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Kearsarge at 4:00 p.m. on May 5. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.83 runs per game on average), something the Giants will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Winnisquam, they will head out on the road to take on Gilford at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
