Recap: Legacy Lightning vs. Loveland Red Wolves
There's no place like home for the Legacy Lightning, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against Loveland by a score of 64-54 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Legacy also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.

Loveland's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Zayne Desouza, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds, and Trey Olsen who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. That's the first time this season that Desouza scored 15 or more points. Nic Rakowsky was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Legacy's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Loveland, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Legacy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Prairie View at 6:30 p.m. Prairie View will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 255th, while Legacy is ranked 87th).
