Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Headland). They were the clear victors by a 21-2 margin over the Carroll Eagles on Thursday. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Headland's fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Carroll, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-16.

Headland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-2 victory against Houston Academy on the 8th. Carroll has also already played their next match (against Pike Liberal Arts), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
