Baseball Recap: Lynbrook Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Lynbrook's offense. They came up short against the Saratoga Falcons on Thursday, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, with their most recent loss being a 18-3 defeat back in April.

Lynbrook has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 16 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season. As for Saratoga, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-14 record.

Coming up, Lynbrook will be playing in front of their home fans against More at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. Saratoga does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
