Basketball Game Preview: Sierra Linda Bulldogs vs. Alhambra Lions

The Sierra Linda Bulldogs will face off against the Alhambra Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 96-33, which was the final score in Sierra Linda's tilt against Central on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 306th, while the Bobcats are ranked 43rd).

Meanwhile, Alhambra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 102-36 loss at the hands of Carl Hayden Community.

Alhambra's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Sierra Linda, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
