Volleyball Recap: Brooklyn Comes Up Short

Brooklyn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Laurel Gators. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hurricanes of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Brooklyn's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Laurel, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Brooklyn has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Fairview on the 26th. As for Laurel, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Geneva on the 28th.
