It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Crestview ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They walked away with a 51-43 victory over the Versailles Tigers. The win was familiar territory for the Knights, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Crestview's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Haley McCoy led the charge by going 6-for-8 to rack up 15 points and six boards. McCoy continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaci Gregory, who posted 11 points and six steals.

Crestview was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They are 5-2 when they've passed the ball that well.

Crestview now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Versailles, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-6.

Coming up, Crestview will venture away from home to take on Wayne Trace at 7:30 p.m. on the 10th. As for Versailles, they will host Fort Recovery at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
