Volleyball Recap: Bergan Catholic Takes a Loss

Bergan Catholic lost against Clarkson/Leigh back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights came up short against the Patriots, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Knights have suffered since October 28, 2024.

Bergan Catholic was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 25-16.

Peyton Langhorst paced Bergan Catholic's offense, picking up 13 kills. Langhorst got some help from Reagan Cansler and her 19 assists. Keira Schmidt controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Bergan Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Clarkson/Leigh, their record is now 15-6.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Bergan Catholic and Concordia will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Clarkson/Leigh, they will take on Archangels Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on the 9th.
