Basketball Recap: Angola HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Angola HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 63-20 loss at the hands of the Benton HomeSchool Bucks. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Angola HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Benton HomeSchool, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Angola HomeSchool will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mishawaka HomeSchool W at 8:00 p.m. on February 7th. As for Benton HomeSchool, they will host Andrews Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Benton HomeSchool's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 games.
