Football Recap: Norwell Comes Up Short

Norwell extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to eight on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They took a blow against the Leo Lions, falling 35-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 55-13 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

As for Leo, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.7 points on average this season.

Nathan Foster was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 232 yards and four TDs on only 13 carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 76 yards.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Norwell is set to square off against their familiar foe Bellmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Leo will face off against rival New Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
