Recap: Middletown Middies vs. Fairfield Indians
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Middletown Middies ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They came out on top against Fairfield by a score of 53-41. The win was familiar territory for Middletown who now have three in a row.
Despite the defeat, Fairfield had strong showings from Kayla McCoy, who scored 14 points along with four steals, and Myka Richardson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds.
Middletown is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-13 record this season. As for Fairfield, they dropped their record down to 9-13 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

As for Fairfield, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Walnut Hills at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Fairfield focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Saturday.
