The Ayden - Grifton Chargers will face off against the West Craven Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ayden - Grifton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.

Ayden - Grifton barely beat West Craven the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Ayden - Grifton's pitcher stepped up to hand West Craven a 12-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

West Craven's batters probably weren't too happy with Camden Wilson, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 13 Ks (he gave up zero walks). Furthermore, Wilson didn't allow a single hit, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Parker Roland, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3. Brysen Williams was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

West Craven is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Ayden - Grifton, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
