Softball Game Preview: Okemos Chiefs vs. Haslett Vikings

Okemos is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Haslett a 13-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Okemos Chiefs will host the Haslett Vikings at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Okemos saw some tournament action on Saturday. They lost 14-7 to Dansville.

Haslett couldn't beat Holt on Wednesday even though they stacked seven runs on them in the third inning. The Vikings came up short against the Rams, falling 30-9.

Haslett saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eleni Skorna, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. Bella Smith was another, going 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Haslett's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Okemos, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
