Soccer Recap: Lake Washington Wins Going Away Against North Creek

The Lake Washington Kangaroos made easy work of the North Creek Jaguars on Tuesday and carried off a 4-1 victory. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Lake Washington's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 29th, while North Creek are ranked 86th).

The win made it two in a row for Lake Washington and bumps their season record up to 4-3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two contests. As for North Creek, they dropped their record down to 2-5-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Lake Washington is taking a road trip to square off against Newport - Bellevue at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Creek, they will be playing at home against Skyline at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Creek will be up against Skyline's rather soft defense (which has allowed three goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
