Basketball Recap: Cypress Park Takes a Loss

The Cypress Park Tigers came up short against the Harlan Hawks on Saturday and fell 56-47.

Harlan found their leader in freshman London Jackson, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Jzackery Deleon, who posted 12 points.

Cypress Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Harlan, their record now sits at 4-2.

Coming up, Cypress Park will challenge Jersey Village at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harlan, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Brennan at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th. This will be the Hawks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
