Mt. Vernon entered their tilt with Seneca on Tuesday with 11 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 12. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Indians. That's more bragging rights for the Mountaineers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mt. Vernon took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-9, 25-11.

Mt. Vernon's victory bumped their record up to 21-6-2. As for Seneca, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-23-1.

Looking ahead, Mt. Vernon will square off against Branson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Seneca does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
