There's no place like home for Ketchikan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Sitka Wolves 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Kings have posted since April 11th.

The team relied heavily on Vienna Pahang, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Mylee Gray, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Ketchikan hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 6-2 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Ketchikan's win bumped their record up to 8-10-1. As for Sitka, they now have a losing record of 4-5-3.

Coincidentally, Ketchikan and Sitka will both be playing Colony the next time they take the field. The Wolves will host the Knights at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Kings will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
