Volleyball Game Preview: Oviedo Lions vs. Buchholz Bobcats

The Oviedo Lions will challenge the Buchholz Bobcats at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Oviedo comes in on five and Buchholz on nine.

Oviedo is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Pace 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-10, 25-19.

Buchholz won the last time they faced Lake Howell and Julia Almond did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bobcats blew past the Silverhawks 3-0 on Wednesday thanks in part to Almond, who had 18 assists and seven digs. She has been hot, having posted 13 or more assists the last five times she's played.

Buchholz walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-13, 25-20.

Buchholz's victory bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Oviedo, their win bumped their record up to 21-6.
