Atascocita has gone a perfect 4-0 against Channelview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Atascocita has given up an average of 36 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Atascocita lost to North Shore on the road by a 47-28 margin. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Mustangs are ranked seventh).

Meanwhile, Channelview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. The matchup between the Falcons and Goose Creek Memorial didn't end well, with the Falcons falling 44-28.

Atascocita will have to contain Tyson Debose as he made an impact in Channelview's last game. He punched in two rushing scores, and also threw for 237 yards on 17 of 26 attempts. Debose also put up a rushing yard, which was his first of the season. Channelview also got help from Davion Vanderbilt, who showed off his sure hands for 99 receiving yards.

Atascocita's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Channelview, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Everything came up roses for Atascocita against Channelview in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 55-0 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
