Football Recap: Eastpointe Comes Up Short

Eastpointe fell victim to St. Clair and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Saints and fell 45-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Shamrocks of the 49-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Eastpointe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for St. Clair, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Eastpointe will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Sterling Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Shamrocks will be up against the Stallions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for St. Clair, they will square off against Center Line at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
