Volleyball Recap: Durand-Arkansaw Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Saturday. Durand-Arkansaw fell just short of St. Croix Central by a score of 2-1. Durand-Arkansaw hasn't had much luck with St. Croix Central recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Ella Sinz paced Durand-Arkansaw's offense, picking up seven kills. Sinz got some help from Kennedy Garner and her 13 assists. Olivia Mueller controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Durand-Arkansaw's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for St. Croix Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-12.

Durand-Arkansaw didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Ladysmith on the 4th. As for St. Croix Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against McDonell Central on the 4th.
