While Wheaton-Warrenville South might've come up empty on Friday, Presley Wright wasn't going down without a fight. Wright pitched six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. The effort also marked the fewest walks (zero) she has had over her last ten games.

Wright and Wheaton-Warrenville South will challenge Batavia at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Sadly, Wright's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Tigers' four-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Wright and the Tigers surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Monday's match.
