Basketball Game Preview: Loving Falcons vs. Eunice Cardinals

Loving is 0-10 against Eunice since April of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Loving Falcons will head out to square off against the Eunice Cardinals at 7:30 p.m.

Loving is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 68-43 to Hagerman. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-18.

The losing side was boosted by Jose Olivas, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten boards. What's more, he posted four steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Cameron Allen was another key player, putting up three points and 14 rebounds.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Eunice, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 58-49 victory over Tatum on Tuesday. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Coyotes recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Eunice's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Loving, their loss dropped their record down to 5-19.

Loving came up short against Eunice when the teams last played on February 4th, falling 47-39. Can Loving avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
