While Shadyside's win against Bellaire wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Big Reds 2-1. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Big Reds recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Shadyside's win was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Parr, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. That's the most hits Parr has posted since back in April.

Shadyside's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Bellaire, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.

Bellaire didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Oak Glen on the 5th. Hopefully Shadyside paid attention to the Big Reds' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Big Reds at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
