Watervliet barely beat Chatham the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cannoneers put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Cannoneers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Watervliet took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-10, 25-14.

Watervliet found their leader in freshman Sophia Rogers, who had seven digs and five aces. Rogers is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least five every time she's taken the court this season.

Watervliet was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.
