Softball Recap: Monrovia Takes a Loss

Monrovia's last matchup with Glendora could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Thursday. The Monrovia Wildcats lost 14-0 to the Glendora Tartans. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Monrovia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Glendora, with the win, they broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-2.

Monrovia didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 16-7 loss against Summit on the 22nd. As for Glendora, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-0 victory against Walnut on the 21st.
