Soccer Game Preview: Walnut Hills vs. Lakota East

The Walnut Hills Eagles will challenge the Lakota East Thunderhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Walnut Hills is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Walnut Hills proved they can win big back in September (they won by four) and last Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past Little Miami 2-1.

Lailah Martesen and Karringtyn Wilder scored both of Walnut Hills' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Meanwhile, Lakota East kept a clean sheet against Colerain on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 6-0 win. Considering Lakota East have won six matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Walnut Hills' victory bumped their record up to 9-5-3. As for Lakota East, the win got them back to even at 8-8-1.
