Salmon had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the West Jefferson Panthers a 16-0 shutout. The Savages might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matchups by nine runs or more this season.

Reuel McCallum made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Wyatt Pilkerton, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Eli Pakuer, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Salmon always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Jefferson only posted an OBP of .333.

Salmon's win bumped their record up to 18-4. As for West Jefferson, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
