Soccer Game Preview: Tennessee vs. Unicoi County

The Tennessee Vikings will square off against the Unicoi County Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Tennessee was handed a three-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Elizabethton 2-1.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in March, Unicoi County was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. Neither they nor Providence Academy could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Tennessee has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four contests. Unicoi County's draw makes their record 1-2-2 this season.

Everything went Tennessee's way against Unicoi County in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Tennessee made off with a 4-1 win. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
