It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact McIntosh can now relate to. They fell just short of the Woodward Academy War Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Chiefs' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Mya Conley paced McIntosh's offense, picking up 14 kills. Conley got some help from Baylee Tanton and her 19 assists. Tanton also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Braelyn Ottolini, each putting up two.

McIntosh's loss dropped their record down to 41-10. As for Woodward Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 38-6 record this season.

As of now, neither McIntosh nor Woodward Academy have any future games scheduled.
