Kolbe-Cathedral has been on a difficult stretch since their win on the 2nd. They fell 3-1 to the Bunnell Bulldogs on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Kolbe-Cathedral can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Bunnell are ranked 25th).

Kolbe-Cathedral's loss dropped their record down to 1-4-2. As for Bunnell, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kolbe-Cathedral will challenge rival Pomperaug at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bunnell is set to square off against their familiar foe Stratford at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
