Baseball Game Preview: Williamsburg Blue Pirates vs. Juniata Valley Hornets

The Williamsburg Blue Pirates will head out to take on the Juniata Valley Hornets at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Williamsburg's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three games, but Monday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Monday, Williamsburg came up short against Curwensville and fell 4-1.

Williamsburg saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Konner Harker, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Juniata Valley was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They lost 8-0 to Rockwood.

Juniata Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Williamsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Williamsburg might still be hurting after the 11-1 defeat they got from Juniata Valley when the teams last played last Thursday. Can the Blue Pirates avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
