Colerain senior and Ohio State-bound safety Amir Riep and Warren Central receiver David Bell join Chris Brown and Zack Poff for an entertaining 35 minute podcast.

The MaxPreps "This Week in High School Football" Podcast went long distance to wrangle in a couple of standouts from the Midwest region to highlight a very lively Episode 11 show.

Host Zack Poff and Chris Brown — known as the Poff and CB — brought in Colerain (Cincinnati, Ohio) four-star safety Amir Riep and one of the nation's top sophomores, wide receiver David Bell, of Warren Central (Indianapolis, Ind.)

Riep, who has committed to Ohio State, is the premier player for the No. 13 team in the country. His team gets ready to play St. Xavier (Cincinnati) for a playoff game this week. The teams have squared off six times total in the last three years. "We'll try to adapt the best we can," he told Brown.

Of his commitment to the Buckeyes, he told Poff: "It's a dream come true."

Bell is having a monster season for the No. 22 team in the country. His coach had to convince him to even play football as a freshman because Bell's first love is basketball. Once he tried out, he convinced his coach he should play varsity. Smart move. He has 60 catches for 1,105 yards and 16 touchdowns, including a Hail Mary reception to beat St. Xavier, the same team Riep is playing Friday.

Poff asks Bell all about that miracle play as well as the NFL receiver he patterns himself after.

Besides the two interviews, CB and Poff tackle the games of the week as well as some other lively banter.
