Softball Game Preview: Evansville Central Bears vs. Boonville Pioneers

The Evansville Central Bears are taking a road trip to challenge the Boonville Pioneers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Evansville Central's hitters has struggled lately (they haven't scored a run in three consecutive games), something the team is no doubt ready to change.

Monday just wasn't the day for Evansville Central's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-0 to Castle, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Boonville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over North Posey on Thursday.

Boonville's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Evansville Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
